1. Aluminium Alloy

The properties of this material, aluminum alloy, are well known. Its biggest characteristic is its lightweight.

For professional cyclists, the weight of the whole body has a great effect on the speed, so the aluminum tubeless valve is the best choice for professional cyclists.

The 40 mm aluminum tubeless valve has a mass of 4g and is compatible with most rims and comes in a variety of colors.

So it’s a good choice if you want to replace your bike with a pair of the tubeless valve.

2. Brass

Brass is a much tougher material than aluminum, and mountain biking involves lots of little rocks and twigs. These things can damage aluminum valves, but they can’t break brass valves.

If your bike is an MTB bike, the brass tubeless valve is your best bet. The mass of 40 mm brass tubeless valve is 7g, which is 3 g heavier than the aluminum tubeless valve. but it’s not a lot of colors.

3. CARBON FIBER

Carbon fiber is a new material and has been used in the bicycle industry only in recent years. Including Bicycle Frame, bike rims, bike Chainring.

So some manufacturers use carbon fiber to produce the tubeless valve. In fact, we all know that the main feature of carbon fiber is light, a 40 mm carbon fiber tubeless valve is 4g. It’s the same quality as aluminum, but the carbon fiber isn’t as tough as aluminum.

So I wouldn’t recommend the carbon fiber tubeless valve. It does not have a too great advantage, it is a kind of product that the manufacturer touts only.

You also can find that not many riders use carbon fiber tubeless valve.

Choose the tubeless valve first from the material to consider, and then consider the length and base, so I suggest: If your bike is a road racing bike then I suggest you choose Aluminium tubeless valve. If your bike is an MTB bike then I suggest you choose a brass tubeless valve.
